I am beyond impressed with not only the work, but also the work ethic and pride that Wes and his team at Great Finishes provided during their time in our home. Wes explained the whole process and answered all of our questions without hesitation. I also loved that they were on time every day, respectful of wearing a mask in my home, and used products that were baby and pet friendly. We had some pretty challenging areas, but they truly did an amazing job throughout my home. My Mexican tile looks brand new!! Wes worked hard to do everything to make sure my home looked perfect before he was done. Also, they took care of our furniture and belongings when moving items around! Choosing Great Finishes to get our Mexican tiles stripped, cleaned, and sealed was the best decision we made! Our home looks so much more inviting and clean!
Wes and his team did an exceptional job with the floor services in our home. Wes came to our home and provided a free estimate.The price was reasonable.We made an appointment for a few weeks after our estimate. His team arrived earlier than the allotted time on the day scheduled for our appointment. His team moved the furniture, cleaned the floors and put everything back in its place. I could not be more happy with Wes and his team and my floors. Wes came out to my house and went over his process and then emailed me a quote that evening. I had a good feeling about Wes and I found his quote to be reasonable. I had heard about the matte finished travertine but I hadn't seen it in person. They offered to do sample areas on my floors to show me the difference between matte and satin. I chose the matte, it really tones down those yellows in the travertine and creates a much more modern looking floor. The guys were there 2 days as originally stated and every precaution was made to keep my home clean. They took pictures of the location of my furniture and decorative items and placed everything back where it was originally. They were all just the nicest, most respectful guys and they did such a great job on my floors. Wes also polished my granite countertops at no additional charge, at his suggestion. I highly recommend them!

We used Great finishes to seal our brick driveway & travertine patio. Wes and his crew were very professional; they arrived on time and the job was completed in one day. Wes came out to measure and discuss what our needs were and then emailed a bid that afternoon. We had other bids that were close in pricing but I felt confident with the way Wes and his office staff were easy to understand and communicated easily. I would highly recommend them for sealing brick patios & pool patios!

Very professional and knowledgeable. I had not had my floors professionally cleaned in years. Everyone thought I had Mexican tile. When I moved into my house in 2003, a handyman put glaze on it, which ended up flaking off. Great Finishes correctly identified that it was really ceramic tile, made to look like Mexican. So the floors were treated accordingly, and the true color and planned imperfections, to making it look like it s clay cousin, came through. The grout was thoroughly cleaned. The guys were polite, worked hard, and cleaned up beautifully. I recently had a flood in my house, and furniture needed to be placed back to where it was before flood, and the guys were very happy to do so. I would highly recommend this company.

I first met with Wes to get a quote for tile and grout cleaning. Wes was prompt, explained the process well and cleaned a sample area by hand before committing to provide a quote. The floors were extremely dirty so I did not know what to expect but the sample area cleaned well. My plan was to get 2 or 3 quotes but after talking to Wes, I decided to go with Great Finishes. The tile floors were cleaned today and the results were amazing. Wes and his team showed up on time, were very professional and very personable. Anna was very quick to contact me initially and worked around my schedule for an appointment. If you need this type of service you need to look no further. Thank you, you made my day today!

Great Finishes restored and polish all of my home's marble floors. The service was excellent and very professional. They completed the project on time with no issues. I have never left a review and I apologize this one is late! I was looking to get my floors done and I called in 2 companies and one of them was Great Finishes. The prices were similar but I went with Great Finishes because Wes was personable, took his time to really walk me through how it would be done and promised he would be there the entire time. When Wes and his crew came to the house it was great. There was a lot of build up because the floors hadn't been done by the previous owners. At one point one of the men was on my floor with a blade to scrape off the wax on the outside. I could keep going but I think it's clear how happy I was about the entire experience. I will definitely hire them back when it's time

Great Finishes was just that. Great! Not the kind of great finish you expect from an Asian massage parlor. But for a marble/concrete/terrazzo floor guy, Wes went above and beyond. Wes, the owner, came out on time and gave a detailed assessment/quote of what my floor needed. Worked with me on my schedule and never had any issues during the job. Will surely call out Wes to polish up the floors again when the time comes.!!!

David and Louie are very professional and very polite young men. My new floors were a mess with construction dust, grout haze, tape residue, and stains. The end result was far better than I expected! I spoke to Wes on a Sunday night regarding my need to have my floors professionally cleaned. I had a short time time frame and was able to schedule the services for Tuesday morning. He made some changes to his busy schedule to accommodate me. He arrived promptly on Tuesday with two assistants. The three of them took the time to make sure that the job was to my satisfaction, and his. No areas were missed. They spent extra time and effort (Wes did a lot of the work) to make sure the hardest areas were completely cleaned. I have nothing but high praise for the job they did. They finished about 2:30 and the floors looked amazing. I would highly recommend this company.

Had a very small stain on one piece of porcelain tile and Wes (the owner) and David were there the same day to do the job. It went great! Wes, the owner, was very responsible to all our concerns. My husband was very particular and he worked on the floor to give it the shine we wanted. Wes indicated he would come back if we later found any additional areas which might need touchup. There were and he was true to his word. I had just spent a small fortune having an Italian porcelain tile floor put down throughout my entire house, and had 'epoxy grout' used because of my animals, etc. The tile layer did a beautiful job laying the tile, however, he did not properly clean the 'epoxy grout residue' as he was grouting the floor (I have come to learn that epoxy grout is very difficult to work with) and consequently a day later, it became apparent that I had this 'cloudy' film or haze all over my tile floor that I could not get up. I called my tile guy who came back with a small cleaning crew and promised to fix it. The next day it was evident that they were not successful - the floor looked just as bad as before. I researched and bought and tried every cleaner that was suggested would work, but nothing made my floor look 'clean' -- I was devasted thinking that I had just spent all this money on what should have been a beautiful floor - but instead, I had a floor that looked dull and dirty. I checked out Angie's List to see if anyone could help and within a very short time, Wes and Anna from Great Finishes reached out to me -- and it was on a Saturday! Wes offered to come out that same day and look at my floors to see what the situation was and see if he could help. He arrived as scheduled and was very familiar with my problem. Wes took a lot of time explaining what the problem was, how it happened and what steps he would take to remedy it. He even got his samples of the cleaners he would use, and hand cleaned a section to show me what it would look like when he was finished. He then took measurements and promised an estimate later that evening, which I received. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. We set up a date for the cleaning. Wes and his crew showed up on time and completed the job within a few hours. I found two small areas (in over 2000 sq ft) that were missed and needed some additional 'cleaning' (different lighting/time of day shows things differently) and called Wes, who came right back the next day and corrected it, no problem. I would highly recommend Great Finishes for any flooring problems -- they are prompt, very knowledgeable, experienced, honest and very reasonable. Thanks to Great Finishes I finally have my 'dream floor' that I've always wanted!!

I recently moved to a new home in Hollywood with porcelain tile flooring. It had a sealer on it that looked terrible. Price varies based upon how much grinding vs polishing is required. Detailed estimate and no surprises or added charges.
They were excellent! Professionals and the work turn out beautifully. They took pictures of every detail to be able to return the furniture and everything in the same place as before. I have a home office and I were very concerned if it would interrupt me, but they were so carefully that even the wires of my computer they put together so well that it worked with any problem.

Great! I thought I had to change the whole floor because it was in such a bad shape, (that is how we bought the house) but I want to see if may be something can be done. West is very knowledgable and professional and he assure me it was going to look good again and it did!! am so happy. Notice am writing this review 6 months after and the picture attached is how it still looks now! and BTW I have 3 kids and I ask for 3 more estimates he gave me the best one. Wes and his staff were great. I had a rather small job as it was just my kitchen countertops, but that didn't matter. They were prompt and helped me get some hard water, lime and calcium stains out. I'm very happy with my countertops now. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to someone.
They came quickly to do an inspection and estimate.Once the estimate was done the time to installation was very fast. Done in one morning . The garage went from a a stained grey concrete slab to another appealing room in the house.

We had a new porcelain tile floor installed it is a very bright finish after about one month the floor had a haze and lost its brightness we hired a tile floor specialist who came and said the floor was defective and should be replaced and also told us we should hire a grout sealing company. I called Great finishes and the owner Wes came and looked at it and assured me he could solve all our problems and concerns. They came back today and cleaned and sealed my floor and it is perfect> I would highly recommend Great Finishes they are truly Pros when it comes to stone floors.

I found this company through a special promotion that was going on here at Angie's List and I am glad I found them. Wes and his team did a fantastic job. Wes made himself available 24/7 to answer any questions that I had. They worked for three days straight, paying attention to every detail. It is rare to have someone like Great Finishes work for you. Wes and his team were all knowledgeable and professional. I bought a new place that had marble floors. They were dingy, dirty, looked like they had bleach marks, water rings and lots of damage. I thought they would need to be repaired. Then I found Great Finishes. Wes and his team did an amazing job!!! The floors look like brand new! They did an exceptional job.My floors sparkled in a way I never knew possible! I honestly couldnt believe what an incredible transformation it was. And the price was very competitive given the quality of work. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. The owner, Wes, worked the job himself, which impressed the heck out of me and really comforted me. They had to deal with very expensive and delicate custom made furniture and they did so without leaving so much as a scratch on anything. They even did some magic with acetone on the grout in the small bathroom that I use to keep my dog in when I'm away for short periods, and which had gotten so stained from accidents when he was a puppy. Would highly, highly recommend! A++
WOW!! The floors look terrific! They shine brighter than I have ever seen before. More importantly, dealing with Wes at Great Finishes was an unusual experience. It is not normal to meet contractors that actually have integrity. Wes di exactly what he said he would do at the time he promised to do it...that is INTEGRITY! Not only did he do great quality work with integrity, his prices were more than reasonable.

He was professional, and even took the time to make suggestions about other work that I was planning in the Master Bath. We were able to schedule the floor refinishing within a week. His staff were on time, professional, clean, and did a spectacular job returning my 40-year old never-refinished marble floor to shiny brilliance. I offer my highest recommendation.

I called Great Finishes on February 7, 2016, a Sunday afternoon not expecting anyone to answer the phone but to hear a recording regarding their hours. I was happily surprised when Wes promptly answered. I explained that we were prepping our residential investment property in Coconut Grove in order to sell it. Wes scheduled me in for the very next day. Wes arrived on time (from Fort Lauderdale) for our appointment. He was professional, friendly, polite and very informative. Wes did not hurry me. He listened as we walked the property with me pointing out the work we needed and wanted done. Wes explained the type of equipment his company uses, the products, all the processes, and the work ethics and integrity of his employees. After our meeting I felt very confident that he would stand by his word, his employees and his work. I felt very comfortable providing him with keys to our property so that they could enter without me being present. Wes coordinated his job with our painters and another contractor. The entire job went very smoothly. Wes was very honest and fair in his price quote and discounted it by 12% without me asking for any pricing reductions. There were no overages the estimate he quoted was what we paid. Wes texted me to let me know when the estimate was emailed to me since I was experiencing problems receiving some emails. The two young men (I'm sorry their names slip me-but they have worked together for many years & one is from Colorado Springs) who worked at our home were phenomenal. They took great pride in the end product and worked diligently to achieve their goal. Our floors and counter tops were dirty and very dull - poor condition due to the treatment received from our first and only renters. The results -- the floors now have a beautiful high gloss finish they are like mirrors-I can see the reflections of leaves on tree limbs. The bath countertops no longer feel rough to the touch but are now very smooth and have a high shine to them also. Simply beautiful. They resurfaced and polished every inch. They even pulled our washer/dryer from the closet and did that area. When I ran in to a few snags with our electronic driveway gate that needed to be deactivated so that the crew could bring their equipment on to the property when I wasn't present Wes took care of it personally. He was very quickly came down that same day from Fort Lauderdale to remedy the problem. I did speak and meet with two other companies but did not come away feeling the way I did with Great Finishes. I highly recommend Great Finishes and will be calling on them when we are ready to do floors and counter tops at our primary residence.
Wes & his 2 guys polished my carrera marble kitchen counter tops & bath vanity top. Due to etching from acidic foods like juices, etc, & being used as a cutting board, they had to grind a lot & then sand with a lot of different size papers. They made very little dust & what they did, they cleaned up. They were beautiful & just like new when they finished. They were all concientious, pleasant & polite. I would use them again for sure. They were great!!!
Wes Clark and his crew did an excellent job of restoring a stained terrazzo floor that had been abused and neglected for 60 years. They were prompt, courteous, dependable, professional, and the price was reasonable. The results were superb and the space has been beautifully transformed. We could not be happier with Wes' work! We hired Great Finishes to fix our stone floors after another company acid burned and scratched them. Wes came to look at the floors at 9pm the same day we called him for an estimate. He explained what the other company had done to our floors and graciously offered to rearrange his busy schedule to accommodate ours. Within 3 days of our initial estimate Wes mobilized a crew and refinished our floors perfectly and professionally. He and his crew went so far as to move all of our furniture themselves and used eco (and pet) friendly products in lieu of the harsh chemicals often used by less conscious competitors. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Great Finishes. They certainly are the standard of what every stone finishing operation should aspire to be. Punctual, professional, and very fairly priced.
I hired Wes Clark to do a marble floor restoration based on the reviews I had read and I was not disappointed. He was professional, dependable and extremely accommodating. He and his assistant did a fantastic job and he went over and above to make sure we were happy! I would not hesitate to highly recommend Wes to anyone who is looking for this type of service.
Mr. Wesley Clark, the owner, and his crew arrived at the designate hour. They were friendly and polite. Immediately after arriving, began to work and methodically performed the work requested. They put mats on the wood floor to avoid scratching it with their equipment. All in all, they were very industrious and finished the work in the time frame, Mr. Clark, the owner, estimated. Mr. Clark offered some tips to maintain the floor spot clean and the bathroom glass door.
Excellent. Arrived on time, professional, explained process along the way, supervisor inspected the own work and made recommendations to workers, they took their time and they came it at the exact cost proposed. They took excellent care while moving furniture and they place protectors on the bottoms of all chairs and stool, even gave me some extras I case the fall off.
What a terrific experience! I only have great things to say about Great Finishes! After I called the company for the first time after seeing the glowing reviews on Angie's list, , Wes came to give me an estimate at the time we had set. He was very professional, very thorough in his questions about what I wanted done. I thought the estimate was very fair. He subtracted all the areas where I had rugs because they did not need to be cleaned and/or polished. The team arrived early on both days. It took them a day and a half to do the job. Shaine and Louie were punctual, professional, polite and very meticulous. I had areas that were very rough, scrapped and damaged. OK, one of the greatest customer service experiences ever. We had a new refrigerator delivered last week and the unit did not fit because the granite counter-top had a small outward bow in it. As the last fridge was much smaller, we did not notice this when we measured the opening for fit. I was out of town when it was delivered and decided to make some calls over the weekend to try and set someone up to come out and fix the counter. I looked on Angie's List and Great Finishes, Inc. had a very good reputation. I called them - expecting a recording and the opportunity to leave a message. Instead, the owner, Wes ACTUALLY PICKED UP THE PHONE; at 2:00 pm on a Saturday!! I described the problem; he completely understood what I was talking about and asked me to text him my address. I did. And less than 5 minutes later he texted back saying he would see me in about 40 minutes. Still can't believe it. It is now 3:30, he has come and gone and the fridge is nestled in its space. He even gave me - yes, gave me - enough sealer to do all of my counters. If you ever need anything done to your floors or counters, please use Great Finishes. Hopefully, by supporting good companies and good guys like this will keep them around for a long time.

Wes, the owner of this company, was a total professional from his first visit to evaluate the condition of our cuban tile foor for refinishing and regrouting to getting the job done in a span of two days. He had a very enegetic employee with him and the two of them were very meticulous in completely restoring every inch of the floor to its original lustre. His estimate was very reasonable. His attention to detail was a pleasure to witness. Above all, he gave us the feeling that he loved his work and took pride in the finished product. Great service. Showed up on time and all personnel were friendly and efficient. Took lots of time to be sure I was happy with the way they were able to repair the chips in the granite along a sink edge and counter edge. I would be happy to have them reseal and repair my granite countertops in the future. Appreciated that I could schedule a repair in Florida even though I live in California and have the experience go so smoothly. I would highly recommend their service.
They gave me a very competitive price, always came on time and did excellent work. The sealer did not completely sink in during the forst treatment so they came back on short notice and finished the sealing. the first tennent that saw my house rented it. I would definetely use them again.
I was extremely pleased with Wes and his Staff. From moving my furniture professionally and cautiously to get at the floors, doing the job, and putting things back exactly where they were. His knowledge of the type of flooring I had and knowing what the end result should be, he continued to persuade the marble to come to a brilliant shine. As he explained, " every tile is different" and needs special treatment to get the best from it. I was satisfied after 2 or 3 diamond grit levels were done, but he and his staff continued until they were satisfied that if it was their tile in their home, they would be happy. The owner of the company Wes came out and was on time for our appointment. After meeting with him I didn't feel the need to get other estimates as I usually do. He quoted me an approximate price at the initial meeting but by the end of the day I had my official quote. We came to an agreement and scheduled the work with him. The job was done in two days and the floors look great. They put everything up on little dollies and got it done. Now we have squeaky clean floors.
I worked with several vendors before moving into my new home and Great Finishes was by far one of the best companies I worked with. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The limestone floors were very dirty and he was able to make them look new again. He and his team even came back when I requested an additional cleaning is some high traffic areas where the dirt was more difficult to remove. They were able to apply a stronger product to remove some additional dirt that was trapped deep into the stone. Before I hired Great Finishes, I had obtained quotes from other companies. Wes quotes a very fair price, and the service he offers to his clients is like no other. Do not give it a second thought and hire Great Finishes for your floor cleaning job!

Wes Clark came with 2 excellent technicians - Shane and Louis. They moved furniture and did the floors of our condo, section by section. In addition to the fine quality of their work, the house was kept in good order and the furniture and rugs were put back exactly in their correct positions. We would wholeheartedly recommend " Great Finishes" for Marble reconditioning. Their pricing was very competetive. The quality of their work was excellent. Their customer service was as good as it gets. My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience.
Wes and his crew did a great job from beginning to end. Wes provided a fair (I got 4 estimates from other vendors) quote and performed the work exactly when and how he said he would. While his team of professionals were capable of doing the work independently, Wes stayed on site the entire 3 days to oversee and manage the work personally. I felt entirely comfortable leaving them unattended in my home to go out and run errands while they worked. The finished product is great, the floors look like new and everything was put back exactly as it was before they started, I didn't have to lift a finger. We had multiple estimates. We even had a cheaper estimate than from Great finishes to restore and refinish my terrazzo floor. But after speaking to Wes the owner and his years of experience we decided to go with him. We had never had experience with terrazzo floors so we really counted on his expertise. Our floor is the original floor and previosly has had tiles and rug. We explained to Wes that we wanted his opinion and estimate. He talks a good game and can sell his own shirt to others. So we took leap and allowed Wes to do the job. He did in 2 days. When he was done he and spoke and he said "he was a perfectionist and was too hard on himself, but after furniture was placed i probably wouldn't notice" I was urged to pay. I injured my kneck and was unable to see the house until next day. I saw the floor the next day and i was DEVASTATED! The floor remained with large stains that look like dog pee. I can see all the tile markings. I have at least 20 or more holes . He didnt cover a single hole. And he didnt even remove cement in areas in the kitchen. The entry way to my house is DISTGUSTING! It looks that it has shiny holes all over the house. I couldnt believe it. My husband called Wes and he said he couldn't do anything else. I just don't understand how someone as reputable as Wes didn't consult with us before continuing if he saw that this job just couldn't be done in a reputable manner. I sent Wes a text telling him how disappointed we were and we should get a refund or partial refund. And Wes has not responded. I went today to see the house again and its horrible. I now have to cover it all up and spend that money plus wasted 2000k on Wes shining the holes in my house. So incredibly disappointed. Needless to say, i will never refer him to anyone except to maybe the better business bureau. Integrity can not be sold or bought. And he has none.
Great, not easy to book them as they are very busy but Wes came out took the time to explain everything and also was there when the job was done. He was also reasonable on his price and made sure to follow up to see how we liked the outcome.

I contacted Great Finishes through Angie's List and got an immediate response. Wes came to our home, measured and gave me a free estimate the next day. Problem: We were undergoing some other changes and they were taking longer than expected, so I told him that I would contact him as soon as the jobs were finished and ready to make the floor shine again. I also had bids from a couple of others but either their price or procedure was not what I hoped for and when we were finally ready Wes and I set a date to begin. He was prompt and the whole procedure only took two days. Wes, Shayne and Louis are polite, courteous and actually nice to have around though they worked steadily. They moved all of our furniture around (including piano) and had a tough time because our floors had not been re-done for 15 years. We are very pleased with the beautiful result, our floor looks better than ever.
It turned out that it was a problem that was not capable of being fixed, although they tried. We all knew it was a long shot. I was afraid that that would be the case, but was also confident that if anybody would know how to fix it, it would be Wes and Shane. Although they worked on the area, they refused to take any money, since they hadn't been able to resolve the problem. Their attitude is outstanding, their customer service is phenomenal, and I will absolutely remember how great they were and how honest, and will most definitely use them in the future for any marble work I need. So, based on their recommendation that I get the entire piece replaced, I am now confident that I have no other option, and so that is what I'm going to do.

I can honestly say that this is one of the best investments I have ever made. To be able to walk barefoot through my home and feel confident that my children are not living in the filth of previous owners/pets is priceless. It really and truly has made a 10-year old home look and feel brand new. The sky reflects off of the floors in the living room and main entrance. The chandeliers twinkle a little more thanks to their reflection off of the floors. The home is brighter, cleaner, and more inviting. Before the cleaning I despised the dark brown granite in the master bath. After the cleaning, the counter gleams and intricate details in the stone are visible thus making it more appealing. I decided to go with this company for my terrazzo restoration after obtaining estimates from at least 4 other companies because I wanted to make sure that this job was done right. In my previous residence, I'd had a terrazzo restoration done and it had proven to be expensive and mediocre. Not so with this company! I was most impressed with the excellence and pride of craftsmanship that Wes and Shane put into their efforts; they are not just professionals but artisans. For instance, their work continued after dusk and there were some areas of irregularity in the floor that they noticed and repaired without my asking them to. They were also trustworthy, since I could not remain at my home all day due to my work schedule. The travertine and marble floors in our home had been installed new over the past 5 years. My wife was concerned that the floors had lost their luster. She thought the floors were dull, and was disturbed by the surface scratches and chips in the travertine. I contacted three companies from Angie's List for quotes. We have just purchased the house and are preparing to move in. The marble floors were very dull and would not come clean not matter how many times it was washed and/or steamed. I called Wes for an estimate who made an appointment for that same day. Not only did he show up at the time promised, he was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about the work that he does. We knew immediately that Great Finishes and Wes was going to get the job even before the other estimates would arrive. On the day of services, Wes and helper showed up at the exact time scheduled and immediately went to work. The rooms were prepared to protect the cabinets and adjacent wook flooring. The remainder of the day was spent restoring the floors with multiple levels of diamond grinding and polishing. The process was amazing to watch as I could see the transformation of the approximately 1000 sq ft of marble flooring. They returned the next day (on-time) after allowing the floors to completely dry before applying the final solution, repaired multiple holes in the natural stone, and final polishing. The results were incredible and the house feels like brand new. Before leaving, Wes even sealed the granite countertops and then explained how to care for the floors to better extend the brilliance and protect, and to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the end results. The bottom-line, it was incredible refreshing to meet someone that took so much pride in his work. Living in South Florida can be extremely frustrating when looking for contractors of all kinds which we need badly for our new home. Wes has proven that there are still some honest, professional, hard-working, considerate individuals out there who have a passion in what they do and have concern for customer satisfaction. We have travertine Marble floors that were in need of a major restoration. Our marble had no shine it was dull and had many holes.
